A founding member of the NPP since 1992, Kwabena Abankwah-Yeboah has served from polling-station and constituency leadership to Greater Accra Regional Treasurer and two terms as National Treasurer, alongside key responsibilities in party finance, elections and fundraising.

Fellow Party Faithful,

For 33 years, I have served this great party at every level: as Polling Station Chairman in Klottey Korle Constituency, as Greater Accra Regional Treasurer, and then as your National Treasurer for two terms. I have seen how divisions can weaken our party and also how fairness, transparency, and genuine inclusion always brought us together.

Party unity is not an empty slogan.

It calls for hard work that must be practiced every day. It demands a selfless character that puts the Party and its people before self. A mindset of fairness and transparency that makes people feel they belong.

As the immediate past National Treasurer, I worked closely and cordially with my fellow National Officers, Regional Officers, and with every Constituency.

We introduced monthly support that reached all constituencies timely, without favoritism.

We insisted that every Constituency open an official bank account to protect Party resources.

We acquired land for a befitting Head Office Complex.

We procured a cutting-edge in-house printing facility to handle internal electoral materials, including voter registers—saving the Party millions in printing costs and protecting the integrity of internal processes.

This experience taught me that unity grows when people feel respected and involved, when resources and opportunities are shared fairly, and when leaders listen more than they talk.

If elected the First Vice Chairman of our great party, I shall pursue this same approach to open doors wider, unite our people, rebuild our Party structures, and stand firmly behind our National Chairman to work tirelessly to restore hope and trust, which are essential for Victory 2028.

The challenges that confront us today as a Party are enormous. But the spirit that has sustained us for generations is still alive and it is calling us forward. So, fellow Party faithful, I ask for your vote, support, collaboration, and partnership in this crucial task of rebuilding our great Party.

United, we can recover lost ground and strive ahead. United, we can make the New Patriotic Party once again, the vessel of hope for our country, Ghana.
